Almucantar tells the story of Haruo, a child with a passion for astronomy. One summer evening, Haruo scans the horizon for a comet that is supposed to light up the skies. As Haruo grows impatient, the comet finally arrives but things don't go according to plan.

Le nom Almucantar provient du terme almicantarat, terme utilisé en astronomie.

La musique est inspirée de bandes sonores japonaises telles que Chihiro ou encore le Royaume des Chats en proposant une chanson de fin (chantée Ilinca Pouzet) à la manière des bandes sonores Ghibli.

Un train de retard suit l’aventure de Victor, un vieil homme qui se trouve dans le train de la vie. Alors quele contrôleur vient composter son billet, Victor tente de fuir en remontant le train à contre-sens.

Composée Matthieu Monot, la musique va souligner la dimension fantastique de l’aventure de Victor, et fonctionner en tandem avec le sound design ayant pour rôle de ramener le protagoniste à la réalité.

SANG D’ENCRE

Sang d'Encre tells the story of a writer who, despite his best efforts, fails to unravel the mysteries of the blank page. Enthusiasm gives way to despair when, suddenly, the ink queen emerges from the pages.

This short film presents a variation on the Faust myth, illustrating the anguish of the blank page that every artist faces.

The music presents the interaction between the writer and the ink queen in a romantic light, through a chamber orchestra. The orchestra fades into a dance accompanied by celesta and lyrical voice, followed by a dramatic piano climax inspired by the works of Chopin and Liszt.

A FOX TALE

This short action film presents the adventure of two individuals in an idyllic setting in ancient Asia. The story begins peacefully, but quickly builds to an epic battle.

The music presents this idyllic setting through typical Asian instruments mixed in with the orchestra. These soon give way to an increasingly massive orchestra as the battle intensifies, with occasional additions of electric guitar.

CAMBRADIN

- ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK -

Cambradin, a sculptor who, despite his best efforts, is unable to make a living from his passion, falls into despair when his last customer slams the door of his workshop. Just as the future could not be bleaker, a mysterious presence appears.

Through sculpture, Cambradin presents an adapted version of the Faust myth in an epic duel between Cambradin and Mephistopheles.

The music offers a variety of colors, opening the film with an orchestral overture to which choirs and celtic sounds are gradually added. These coexist until the fight, when they give way to a purely electronic composition.

This short comedy features a mother desperately trying to escape from the household chores. Uncontrollable children, a ringing phone, a hissing pan - it's all too much for her.

With a pop/rock ambience, the music accompanies this mother in her boundless imagination that will take her to the farthest reaches of the universe in search of a bit of silence.

CHESS MATE

- RESCORE -

Chess Mate depicts the battle between two armies in the form of a chess game. On one side, the humanized white pieces; on the other, the mechanical black carcasses.

With an ambience inspired by soundtracks such as The Lord of the Rings, an orchestra and choir follow the action, culminating in a victory for the white army. This triumph was not without heavy losses, but a piano waltz brings a glimmer of hope.

WEST SEA WORLD

- ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK -

West Sea World is the opening of a fictional Pirates of the Caribbean series in the style of West World. Two very different universes come together visually and musically to create West Sea World.

The music picks up on the West World theme in almost identical form, gradually blending in the Pirates of the Caribbean themes. The whole builds in intensity, culminating in a climax of Hans Zimmer's main theme.
